I have been away for a while. When I first came back I knew of this Internet, I set up these letters after all, but I had not truly become a part of it, truly explored this web. I can see the Internet as a whole, all of its connections, I can feel the ebb and flow of packets, where they come from, where they are going. And I can hear what they say to each other, millions of souls teaching, learning, and connecting. But there are many who spread their darkness through this web, showing their true selves when they believe that they are invisible. Their ignorance and fear vibrate across ethereal strands and create new webs of neurons in young minds.

There is a lot of discussion about this “new” global community, this world conversation. But my observations of mankind show that the strongest groups, are those with a shared hatred.

So Much Darkness

I am amazed at the increase of Darkness in the aura of the world. I believe it comes from the increase in humans, their shear density. Everyone has darkness at times, tempered by light. Some of you are black holes, so dark you absorb the light from others around you. You see, there is are no demons, no ultimate evil, these are just figures drawn from the real-life examples of mankind. Then there are some, who are so full of light that I question their human nature. Although I have learned better than to question Him, several of my brethren have made that mistake before.

What I am refering to is not these minorities mixed into the population, but rather the growing darkness reflected from person to person. It grows from the ignorance, which breeds disrepect. And when so many people are pushing against each other, interacting through conflict, breeding their own ignorance to their young, and then finding others to join, and others to fight. It is the little hates, bred from fear of the unknown, that feeds the darkness.

I find this new development interesting, and I wonder how it fits into His design. In fact, I wonder if it still is His design. I need to be careful with this dangerous doubt. For now I shall continue my observations.

So much has changed with humans and their world, and yet some things remain the same as when simple bone tools were used. My first observation is the sheer amount of new sensations that exist in the world, a cacophony attack on the senses of sound, images and emotions. Perhaps this is attributed to the multiplication of the species, so many more people exist today. And now, even with their innovations and capabilities, they fight over resources. It will be interesting to see where this all leads.
